Buyer-needs intake form (low-code rung)

Build-along · ~12 min at your own keyboard

Your first business app: it collects data and hands you something structured. This is the low-code rung. Build it in Claude Code so the output is a CRM-ready row, not notes you retype. Fields are budget, must-haves, deal-breakers, timeline, and financing status. The compliance line lives here: the form captures the home the buyer wants, never the buyer's demographics. And it should refuse to store a field like 'preferred neighborhood demographics' or 'ideal community,' because steering by protected class is the exact line Keyroom won't cross.

Your starter: Buyer intake sheet

Template

Make it yours: Reorder the questions the way your first call actually goes, add the two things your market makes you ask about, and cut any question you would not act on.

BUYER INTAKE: [name], first call [date]

WHAT THEY WANT
- Area or commute anchor: [place] within [minutes]
- Must-haves (three at most): [ ], [ ], [ ]
- Would-be-nice: [ ]

HOW THEY BUY
- Lender letter in hand? [yes / no, referred to: ]
- Band they are shopping: [CHECK WITH BROKER: confirm against the letter]
- Selling first? [yes, where / no]

TIMING
- Lease ends / needs to move by: [date]

NEXT STEP (one): [send the three listings / book the lender call / tour on ...]
Note to self: write the property, never the people, in every message that follows.

The coach checks that what you paste back is your own work. The starter pasted back unchanged won't pass.
