Two or three contractor bids never line up: one includes cabinets, one leaves them as an allowance, one is silent. A comparison matrix pins every bid to the same rows, scope, price, timeline, allowances, license/insurance, exclusions. So gaps show as UNKNOWN instead of hiding.
